The book was very helpful on our recent trip to St. Maarten/St. Martin. Reviews were given of resorts, beaches, restaurants, and excursions. Helpful hints were given regarding transportation, currency, electrical use, and customs. I always take a Frommer's book wherever I go outside of the U.S.

There are numerous guides out there, but Frommer's is one of the more reliable and trusted.
Set on this island: Murder in the Raw: A Rex Graves Mystery (Rex Graves): A beautiful Anglo-French actress goes missing under mysterious circumstances on the paradise island of St. Martin in the French West Indies.
